Based at the Step Forward Centre, Lynfield Mount Hospital (BD9), this full-time, permanent Occupational Therapy Assistant post (Band 3, £24,937–£26,598) offers hands-on rehabilitation work with adults aged 18+ who need extra support to regain practical life skills and move towards greater independence. You will support functional assessments, deliver tailored therapy programmes and monitor outcomes under the direction of senior practitioners, using observational tools and working closely with the multidisciplinary team on the ward and in the community. The role includes contributing to service development and patient-centred care planning. Essential requirements are NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent QCF diploma), numeracy and literacy at Level 2, experience in adult mental health or rehabilitation, and a satisfactory DBS check.
