You will be the friendly first point of contact for staff with IT queries, providing 1st line remote support, following triage guidance to capture information, and resolving as many incidents as possible at first contact. The role supports a busy IT Service Desk and the rollout of a new EPR system, working on a rota Monday–Friday 08:00–18:00 with occasional out-of-hours cover for deployment work. This is a fixed-term, full‑time post (18 months), Agenda for Change Band 3, salary £24,937–£26,598 pro rata, and includes routine administrative duties alongside technical support tasks.

This opportunity suits people who are organised, calm under pressure and enjoy helping others — ideal for carers or women looking for a rewarding, community-focused role with clear progression and training available (training in ITIL, Windows and Microsoft Office where needed). Strong customer service and communication skills are essential; enthusiasm for IT, the ability to work as part of a team and travel independently are also required. Benefits include 27 days’ holiday rising to 33, flexible working options, NHS pension, staff discounts and development opportunities, with a DBS check required (fee deducted from salary).
