Team Secretary - Specialty Medicine (Band 3) at Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle (CA2 7HY). This 12‑month fixed‑term post is maternity cover, offering 15.75 hours per week (pro rata salary £24,937–£26,598). You will work alongside medical secretaries, clerk typists and clinicians to manage clinic preparation, minute‑taking, phones and emails, and to maintain a 48‑hour turnaround for clinical letters. The role suits someone experienced in audio‑typing, word processing and IT, with knowledge of medical terminology and NCIC admin systems such as RTT pathways and Text Flow; attention to data‑protection, FOI and defensible documentation is essential.
