Experience
in a healthcare environment however full training will be providedand all successful post holders will be expected to work towards gaining a NVQLevel 2 Certificate in Cleaning and Support Services .Successfulpost holders will be expected to work shift pattern which includes weekends.All post holders will be subject to a 6 month probationary period.

Main duties of the job
Successfulpost holders will be required to carry out specific cleaning and other relatedduties following set procedures and standards to maintain the levels ofcleanliness throughout the environment.They will be required towork as part of a team and have the ability to use a degree of initiative toprioritise and organise the daily duties, whilst maintaining a professionalapproach at all times regardless of the situation.They will ensure thatcommunicaton channels are maintained between appropirate staff, visitors andpatient groups with regard to departmental cleaning hygiene.Post holders will be alsobe expected to be flexible to the needs of the service ensuring that acontinuity of service is maintained whilst adhering to all relevant policiesand procedures.Theywill have the ability to work unsupervised, be caring, flexible and reliableand have good levels of personal hygiene.

Job responsibilities
