Research Assistant — Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, based in Southampton (SO14). Play a hands‑on role in the Mental Health Mission with a focus on treatment‑resistant affective disorders, particularly treatment‑resistant depression (TRD). You will support the setup, delivery and closure of research studies, help establish an enhanced access research clinic, work closely with clinical teams and Patient and Public Involvement partners, recruit and assess participants, administer research measures and manage study documentation and procedures. The post carries an honorary affiliation with the University of Southampton and offers the chance to improve access to innovative treatments while sharing clinical and research learning across services.

This fixed‑term, full‑time Band 5 role (Agenda for Change; £31,049–£37,796) is ideal for someone educated to degree level (or equivalent) with research experience, familiarity with NHS settings, strong administrative and data‑management skills and confidence with standard office IT. A DBS check is required; flexible working options can be discussed.
