Take on a pivotal finance role supporting Specialist Commissioning and Health & Justice for NHS England, based at Regatta Place, Liverpool (L3 4BL). This Band 6, full-time post (37.5 hours) is fixed term to 31 March 2027 with a salary of £38,682–£46,580. You’ll handle management accounting tasks including month‑end and year‑end processes, Agreement of Balances, Oracle/SBS use and Excel analysis; act as finance lead for independent sector contracts; produce forecasts and variance analysis; and work closely with Supplier Managers, pharmacists, Integrated Care Boards and providers to help services deliver better outcomes for patients. A degree or equivalent experience is required; specialist commissioning experience is helpful but not essential, and there’s scope to progress towards CCAB-style qualifications.
