Start as a Healthcare Assistant (Band 2) with Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust at Darent Valley Hospital (DA2) in a patient-facing role across wards and outpatients. You will work as part of the nursing team, providing hands-on care, supporting Registered Nurses and helping to maintain a safe clinical environment. Shifts vary by area: inpatient long days and nights (07:00–19:30 and 19:00–07:30, including weekends) and outpatients typically 08:00–18:00 depending on clinical need. The post is permanent and full-time, salary from £25,768 (incl. fringe; pro rata if part-time). Essential basics include good literacy and numeracy (GCSE or equivalent) and a DBS check; the role is patient-facing and requires commitment to vaccination guidance where applicable. Please note the Trust cannot offer sponsorship for roles at Band 4 and below, so do not apply if you require sponsorship.
