Help people in North/East Cornwall manage common mental health difficulties as a Qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner based in Liskeard (PL14 6AF) with Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. The role is Band 5, permanent and offers full‑time, part‑time and flexible working, with a salary range of £31,049–£37,796 (pro rata). You will deliver evidence‑based low intensity interventions within a stepped care model: assessments, 1:1 sessions (face‑to‑face, phone and video), group courses, CBT techniques and community outreach. Expect to work across clinics and community settings, liaise with step‑up clinicians for safe onward referrals, and support people from diverse backgrounds using interpreters where required.
This post is for a practitioner with an accredited IAPT Low Intensity PWP qualification, current UK professional registration and experience in primary care or stepped care services. You’ll join an expanding Talking Therapies service that values staff wellbeing and development, with regular clinical case management, clinical skills and reflective practice supervision plus ongoing CPD. The team is focused on quality and gold‑standard practice, with links to Primary Care Networks and secondary care.
