Consultant Interventional Radiologist — deliver advanced vascular and non‑vascular interventional procedures for both inpatients and outpatients across Royal Shrewsbury Hospital (SY3 8XQ) and the Princess Royal Hospital. Join a busy, expanding department at The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust with a flexible, agreed 10‑PA consultant job plan (typically 7.5 PAs Direct Clinical Care and 2.5 SPAs). Duties include diagnostic reporting, clinic work, following patients through their clinical pathways, contribution to departmental organisation and administration, teaching and training of junior staff, participation in regular clinico‑radiological meetings and the 1:24 cross‑county general radiology on‑call rota (there is currently no out‑of‑hours interventional rota). Prospective cover for annual and study leave is provided and the service supports development of enhanced acute and interventional skills.

This permanent consultant post (salary £109,725–£145,478 per annum) is aimed at experienced interventional radiologists with MBBS/MBChB, FRCR, full GMC registration and entry on the Specialist Register via CCT or CESR, plus evidence of commitment to clinical audit and research.
