As a Senior Nursing Assistant with Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust based in Wythenshawe (M22), you will deliver compassionate, patient-centred care across South Manchester as part of an integrated community nursing team. This Band 3, permanent post (full- and part-time options) requires NVQ Level 3 or a health and social care diploma and a car owner/user, as the role involves travelling to patients’ homes. Shifts run between 08:00 and 22:00, seven days a week, including bank holidays, with two full-time roles (five days) and one part-time role (22.5 hours over three days) available; set days and flexible working may be possible. Duties include supporting personal care, assisting with wound and skin care, palliative care and observations under the supervision of registered nurses, with practical, on-the-job training and assessment provided.

This role suits experienced nursing assistants wanting a community focus and carers new to healthcare who are ready to learn and progress.
