Marie Curie is expanding its Hospice Care at Home service in Cwm Taf Morgannwg (Llwyn‑y‑Pia, CF45) and is looking for compassionate Healthcare Assistants to provide one‑to‑one end‑of‑life care in patients’ own homes. You will work closely with District Nursing and Primary Care teams to support symptom control, medication assistance, personal care, record keeping and emotional support for families, and help develop an urgent response service to aid hospital discharges. This is a permanent, full‑time role (37.5 hours/week) on the Marie Curie Clinical Pay Scale Band 2, salary £24,833 per annum plus generous enhancements (44% extra for Saturdays and weekday nights 8pm–6am; 88% extra for Sundays and bank holidays), access to pension options (including charity matching), season ticket loans, staff discounts, life assurance and industry‑leading training and development.

This vacancy will suit experienced carers and people who want to deepen their palliative or community nursing skills — you’ll need at least six months’ care experience, an S/NVQ Level 2/3 or willingness to work towards it, registration with Social Care Wales (or willingness to register), emotional resilience and the ability to work independently; a UK driving licence and business‑insured vehicle are essential.
