Work as a Healthcare Support Worker (Band 3) at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust, based in the Minor Injury Unit at Kidderminster General Hospital. This permanent, part‑time role (24 hours per week) offers shift patterns of 07:30–20:00 and 10:00–22:30 to cover the unit’s opening hours of 08:00–22:00. You will support Emergency Nurse Practitioners with hands‑on clinical care — wound closure, dressing changes, plaster application, eye washouts, observations and completing NEWS2/PEWS scores — while also carrying out reception and clerical duties. Basic life support, manual handling and other on‑the‑job training are provided, and new staff are expected to complete the Care Certificate standards within 12 weeks.
