HMP Leeds is a remand prison with a fast paced healthcare department that provide care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Within this role you will be working on evening receptions supporting with the intake of new patients, this will require support with same day medications, acute needs and substance misuse withdraw plans.  Hours Monday and Tuesday 5pm-9pm Salary This position is part time, youll receive an annual salary up to £125,000 per annum FTE - depending on experience How will we support you?   • Deliver first class healthcare to a diverse group of patients, and therefore as a General Practitioner at Practice Plus Group you get the opportunity to further develop your knowledge in areas you wouldnt usually experience within a practice, or even A&E environment.
  • Provide clinical assessment and diagnosis to patients requirements and make timely decisions regarding future management.

Qualifications required

  • MBChB or MBBS
  • Inclusion on the GMC Register and GP Performers List
  • Evidence of engagement with annual appraisal
  • Experience working as a General Practitioner in community general practice
  • Evidence of continuing professional development
  • Ability to work with patients with a history of substance misuse
  • RCGP Certificate in Substance Misuse 1 and 2, or prepared to undertake these qualifications
