As a Patient Care Navigator (Medical Receptionist) with Priory Medical Group in York (YO31), you’ll be the warm, skilled first point of contact for patients across two local surgeries. The role blends face‑to‑face reception duties and telephone work with essential admin: checking in patients, managing appointments and prescription requests, preparing forms for tests and procedures, retrieving notes, liaising with hospitals and medical teams, and maintaining consulting rooms. You’ll need strong communication, attention to detail, IT literacy and discretion; previous experience is desirable but not essential. This is a permanent, part‑time role (minimum 24.5 hours per week) with set shifts across Park View and Heworth Green surgeries, paid at £12.36 per hour.
