As Elective Admissions Coordinator at The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (Mount Vernon, Northwood, HA6), you will lead the day‑to‑day booking and tracking of elective inpatient pathways for a 12‑month fixed‑term (maternity cover) position at Band 4, salary £32,199–£34,876 pa inc HCAS, full‑time. The role is centred on data‑driven patient access: monitoring and auditing trust data and PAS wait‑list tables to prevent breaches of national Access, Booking and Choice and 18‑week RTT targets; creating and maintaining the daily bed list (paper and electronic); scheduling theatre diaries; ordering specialist equipment to avoid cancellations; and producing performance reports for the Elective Inpatient Manager and weekly waiting‑list meetings. You will work closely with consultant surgeons, anaesthetists, theatre coordinators, ward managers, discharge coordinators and site practitioners to keep patient pathways synchronised and on time.
