Job description
This opportunity is well suited to carers and women seeking a supportive NHS role where you can specialise in ophthalmology. The post requires a good understanding of basic physiology (vital signs, fluid balance), clear communication, teamwork, initiative and IT literacy; desirable experience includes assisting with visual field tests and skills such as venepuncture or cannulation. You will complete a competency‑based workbook and short clinical courses are advantageous. The role is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Please note services across the Trust are being developed and may relocate in future; any planned site move will be treated as a normal commute.
