Receptionist/Care Navigator at Ravenswood Medical Practice, Ipswich (IP3). This part‑time role (8.45am–7.00pm on Monday and Friday) places you at the front line of patient care, welcoming and directing visitors, managing telephone enquiries, triaging urgent walk‑ins and arranging appointments and hospital transport. You will action repeat prescription requests so they are ready within 72 hours, undertake chaperone duties when asked, register new patients, prepare clinic and surgery lists, handle payments for private services and help keep the reception and waiting areas organised. The role suits compassionate, organised people — especially women returning to work or carers looking for reliable, part‑time hours — and full training is provided for those without prior GP practice experience.

You will join a friendly, well‑resourced practice of 9 GPs, paramedics, a nursing team and administrative colleagues serving around 15,000 patients, with strong personal and professional support. The post offers competitive pay (£12.35 per hour), membership of the NHS Pension Scheme and ongoing training. Essential requirements include GCSEs in English and Maths (A–C) and a DBS check; experience in a medical setting is desirable but not required.
