Main duties of the job
As a Healthcare Assistant, you will be part of an inclusive and supportive team that works together to provide care and support to people with a range of Mental Health conditions. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include ward rounds, analyzing behaviors and adapting care accordingly, updating patient records, and providing overall care and support, which may include assisting with personal hygiene. The environment can be quite challenging at times, so a positive attitude, compassion, resilience, and vigilance are important. But it is hugely rewarding to see people improve because of your involvement, knowing that you’ve made someone’s life better.The shift pattern is 12.5 hours a day, 3-4 days a week including nights and weekends.Where you will be working:Location:Chesterfield Road, Alfreton, Derbyshire DE55 7DT You will be working at Field House and Apartments - a 16 bed specialist rehabilitation service for women with a Mental Illness and/or Personality Disorder. The service offers a blended model of rehabilitation that combines a traditional rehabilitation environment with single and dual occupancy apartments, to provide a seamless care pathway for women with a Mental Illness and/or Personality Disorder and a history of trauma and/or attachment disorders. You will work in an environment where there is a strong emphasis on positive risk taking which enables self-reliance and builds trust and self-esteem, with a focus on psychological input.What you will get:Annual
