Main duties of the job
To assist the Sonographers and Radiologists, Radiographic and Nursing staff in the smooth running of the imaging department including; general x-ray, ultrasound, bone mineral densitometry, breast imaging, CT, MRI and Nuclear Medicine at Harrogate District Hospital, Ripon Community Hospital and other community settings. This will involve greeting patients, changing them into gowns, assisting with standard and aseptic procedures, giving personal care to patients, for example toileting, undertaking necessary clerical work and liaising with wards and clinicians.
