We are looking for a Dietetic Assistant to join our friendly, proactive dietetic service with an excellent reputation for our work in both the acute and community setting.Are you interested in food and nutrition? Main duties of the job
Following training and achievement of competencies you will assist dietitians with the assessment, treatment and monitoring of patients. This will include taking anthropometric measurements, dietary histories and supporting dietary planning.You will liaise with catering and ward staff to ensure patients receive the correct therapeutic diets, snacks and nutritional supplements accordingto their nutritional care plan.You will support with patient weight checks at community clinicsThe role involves supervised care of a selected patient caseload requiring good written and verbal communication skills and self-motivation froma team player. You will also support our administrative team requiring developed organisational and IT skills.
