Play a vital role maintaining ward and department cleanliness across clinical and non‑clinical areas at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. As a Cleaning Services Assistant you’ll deliver high standards of deep and routine cleaning — from washrooms, beds and bedside lockers to hard floors, carpets, curtains and fixtures — while keeping patients’ dignity and safety at the forefront. The role involves replenishing consumables, removing waste to designated points, responding promptly to cleaning requests, using and maintaining cleaning machinery and equipment safely, and working closely with ward teams to support infection control. This permanent, part‑time post is Agenda for Change Band 2 with a salary of £24,465 per annum pro rata and is based at our NG7 site in Nottingham.

Domestic cleaning experience and good communication skills are useful; full training (including machinery and infection‑control procedures) is provided and NVQ Level 1/2 is desirable.
