Support adults across East Staffordshire as a Band 3 Community Mental Health Support Worker with Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, based at Horninglow Clinic, Burton‑on‑Trent (DE13). This permanent, full‑time role (Mon–Fri, 09:00–17:00) offers a salary of £24,937–£26,598 pa pro rata and requires travel across a large geographical area, so access to suitable transport during working hours is essential. Please note Home Office guidance means visa sponsorship is not available for Band 2 and Band 3 roles. The post is part of the Integrated Mental Health Team (IMHT) delivering place‑based, neighbourhood care in line with NICE guidance and the care programme approach.

You will manage a defined caseload, delivering recovery‑focused, therapeutic support to improve daily living, social inclusion, meaningful occupation and access to employment. Duties include working with multi‑disciplinary teams and external partners, co‑facilitating group activities, promoting mental and physical health, and carrying out physical health checks (weight, height, blood pressure, ECG and phlebotomy). The role suits experienced carers or community support workers with an Advanced Apprenticeship or NVQ3 in (Mental) Health and Social Care (or equivalent), good literacy and IT skills, and experience supporting people with non‑dementia mental health needs. The Trust is award‑winning, committed to staff development and inclusivity, and offers ongoing training and clear progression routes — qualities that particularly resonate with women seeking meaningful, family‑friendly NHS work.
