Job summary
An opportunity has arisen for a Band 3 Health Care Support Worker to work within the in-patient services in Bryn Y Neuadd HospitalThe post holder will be based within Tan Y CoedThe successful applicants will support the Ward Managers to provide quality care for individuals with Learning Disabilities and associated complex health needs. As a key member of the team you should possess good interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal). You should also be willing to work flexibly within a team.Please note: This vacancy may close early if a high volume of applications is received. Main duties of the job
The post involves working within a Learning Disability unit caring for people who suffer from a variety of mental/ Physical illness' to help gain an understanding of illness and develop strategies to cope with the illness when discharged back into the community. The post is offered on a shift basis and involves working weekend shifts the successful applicant would also be expected to work night duty on an internal rotation basis.The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
