Permanent Band 2 role with Wirral University Teaching Hospitals — job security at a large NHS Trust serving around 400,000 people

Provide hands-on, compassionate care on Ward 33 at Arrowe Park Hospital (Wirral University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust). Working under the supervision of registered nurses you will support patients’ safety, dignity and independence through personal care, mobility assistance, observations and reassuring contact in a busy acute setting. The role suits people with previous care experience or a good general education who are willing to work towards a Level 2 Health & Social Care qualification; completion of the Care Certificate (theory and practice) is required within 12 weeks. You’ll join a close-knit team where practical skills, a positive attitude and the ability to follow guidance are valued; experience of manual handling and clinical environments is desirable but not essential.
This permanent Band 2 post offers a pro rata salary of £24,465 with flexible full- or part-time patterns to fit family life and other commitments.
