Support high-quality patient care in the Dermatology Department at Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust by coordinating patient journeys from referral through to treatment and discharge. As the central administrative contact for the speciality clinical team you will schedule appointments in line with NHS targets (including 18-week RTT and cancer waiting times), rearrange cancellations, manage consultants’ diaries and outpatient lists, and keep the Trust PAS records and patient communications accurate and up to date. This patient-focused role requires checking patient identity, expediting pathways where needed, attending MDT and clinical meetings, and being an accessible, knowledgeable point of contact who helps clinicians use resources efficiently so patients receive the right care, at the right time and place.

This fixed-term, full-time role (Band 4; £32,199–£34,876 pa incl HCAS Outer, pro rata) is based in Epsom (KT18) and is ideal for people with healthcare administration experience or carers seeking a meaningful, behind-the-scenes role that makes a real difference. You’ll need good general education (GCSE English grade C or above), confidence with patient administration systems and IT, and be prepared for a Disclosure and Barring Service check.
