Kirkby Health Centre is a busy GP surgery situated in the centre of Kirkby in Ashfield.We are looking to recruit a admin assistant/receptionist to work as part of our team. The position is 20 hours per week over 4 days and occasional Saturdays, however, you will need to be flexible to change.All applicants must have administration

Job Title Admin Assistant/ReceptionistPost HolderJOB PURPOSETo provide a helpful, efficient and comprehensive reception and administration service for staff, patients and visitors to the practice, working within agreed policies and procedures.PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES1. To deal with enquiries from patients, visitors, other Healthcare professionals and outside agencies, providing information, taking messages2. To organise appointments for clinical staff.3. To process requests for prescriptions as per procedures.4. To process internal and external mail.5. To prepare clinic notes for nurses6. To update computer patients records following attendance in surgery, clinics and hospital appointments7. To organise transport according to protocol8.
