Make a tangible difference to patients leaving hospital as a General Practitioner - Hodge Hill with Coventry And Rugby GP Alliance, based at Foleshill Health Centre (CV6 5AR). This permanent, part‑time post involves autonomous management of Discharge to Assess (D2A) beds—providing comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, treatment, onward referral and discharge—alongside routine primary care duties including surgery and telephone consultations, home visits, prescribing from the practice formulary, QOF-compliant record keeping and delivery of enhanced services. You’ll work with a supportive administrative team who keep caseloads up to date, and be part of a practice-owned federation focused on strengthening primary care across a population of around 450,000.

This opportunity suits experienced GPs with MBBS (or equivalent), GMC registration, CCT/JCPTGP, inclusion on the Performer List and proven primary-care and out‑of‑hours experience; MRCGP is desirable. You’ll need good IT, organisational and communication skills, flexibility for occasional out‑of‑hours work, and a full driving licence for practice visits; a DBS check and current UK registration are required.
