Support patient care by keeping Halton Hospital clean, safe and welcoming as a Domestic Assistant with Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHSFT. This permanent, part‑time role (Band 2, Agenda for Change) is based at Halton Hospital, Runcorn (WA7) and is paid £24,465 per year pro rata. You’ll work Monday to Friday, 4–8pm, carrying out a range of cleaning duties to Trust protocols: operating equipment such as buffing machines and vacuums, moving cleaning materials and buckets, maintaining stock and the correct storage and security of supplies, and working closely with Ward and Departmental Housekeepers. The post requires basic education and IT skills for mandatory e‑learning, relevant cleaning experience, and the ability to follow COSHH, infection‑control and health and safety guidance; appointment is subject to a DBS check.
