As a Healthcare Assistant at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust based at The Alexandra Hospital in Redditch (B98), you will provide hands-on, patient-centred care on inpatient wards, working alongside registered nurses. Your day-to-day duties include washing, dressing and assisting with meals and feeding, supporting mobilisation and toileting, bed-making, moving and repositioning patients, taking observations (temperature, pulse, respirations and weight), carrying out delegated clinical tasks, and supporting relatives. This is a permanent Band 3 role (Agenda for Change) with a salary of £24,937–£26,598, requiring flexible shift working across days, nights and weekends. Please note a DBS check is required and the cost (at the current rate) will be deducted from salary where applicable.
