Step into the Senior Healthcare Support Worker (Band 3) post at The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust, based in the Medical Day Unit, Chelsea (SW3 6JJ), supporting a fast‑paced outpatient service caring for people receiving cancer treatment. You will work across prescribing clinics, the phlebotomy room and a 30‑chair treatment area, delivering hands‑on nursing care drawn up with the shift coordinator. Core duties include venepuncture and venous blood sampling (essential), monitoring and recording vital signs, measuring height and weight, accurate data entry, assessing patient comfort and instigating emergency procedures where needed, practising the Care Certificate, and supporting junior staff while working under the supervision of registered nurses. Excellent communication, empathy and experience in a healthcare setting are required; oncology experience is desirable.
