Support people to live well at home as a Healthcare Support Worker with Somerset NHS Foundation Trust’s Rapid Response teams covering Taunton, Bridgwater, Shepton Mallet and South Petherton. You’ll deliver delegated, person‑centred care from an individual’s care plan—promoting independence, checking comfort and wellbeing, and feeding back to the multidisciplinary team. The role involves home visits and lone working where confident decision‑making and safe practice are essential. It suits someone with strong interpersonal and organisational skills who enjoys hands‑on care and the variety of community work.

Applicants should have at least one year’s relevant experience in community or hospital settings, NVQ Level 3 (or Level 2 with a willingness to complete Level 3), maths and English qualifications, and access to a car with a valid UK driving licence; skills such as wound care, venepuncture and NEWS2 scoring are desirable.
