Job description
This role suits compassionate, organised people — particularly women and carers with health, social care, criminal justice or volunteering experience, or those motivated to work in the drug and alcohol sector. Essential requirements include ONC/NVQ level 3 (or willingness to achieve within 12 months), experience supporting people with substance misuse, a driving licence and access to a vehicle, good IT and communication skills, and resilience under pressure. Permanent, full-time salary starts at £25,000 with progression toward £30,000; benefits include 28 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays, an extra day off for your birthday, enhanced parental leave, pension enrolment, paid volunteer leave, Blue Light Card savings and flexible working options.
