As a Senior Healthcare Assistant (Band 3) with The Christie NHS FT based in Manchester (M20 4BX) you will work in the SACT Outreach team delivering chemotherapy and supportive care closer to patients’ homes. This permanent, part‑time role (salary £24,937–£26,598 pro rata) involves rotating between outreach hubs, the Oak Road Treatment Centre and the Mobile Chemotherapy Unit at sites including St Ann’s, Little Hulton, New Mills, Oldham, Winsford, Tameside and Bury. Day‑to‑day duties include assisting nursing and medical staff during treatments, phlebotomy and IV care, rooming and observations, escorting patients, handling medicines and stock, supporting nutrition needs and acting as team co‑ordinator on the treatment floor. Essential requirements include NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent), previous HCA experience, competent venepuncture skills, a clean driving licence and access to a car; the post is subject to a DBS check.
