Help people recover with dignity in their own homes as an Integrated Community Support Worker for East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust, working across Eastbourne and Hastings (BN21). You’ll be part of Home First, Urgent Community Response and Virtual Ward services, providing personal care (washing, dressing), encouraging nutrition, supporting eating and drinking, and administering medicines from charts under supervision. The role works alongside Senior ISWs, nurses and therapists to deliver hospital-level rehabilitation at home, travelling independently between patients’ homes; a full UK driving licence and access to a car are essential. Shifts run across 08:00–22:00, seven days a week, with flexible full- and part-time options and multiple posts available across Agenda for Change bandings.
This permanent post (Band 2, £24,465 pa pro rata) is aimed at compassionate carers—especially those juggling family life—who have at least six months’ customer-facing experience, NVQ Level 2 (or willingness to work towards it), basic IT skills and the ability to record care episodes and basic observations.
