As Senior Medical Statistician and Statistical Programmer at University Hospitals of Derby and Burton (Royal Derby Hospital, DE22 3NE), you will lead statistical programming and provide expert statistical support across high‑quality, multi‑centre clinical trials run by the UKCRC‑registered Derby Clinical Trials Support Unit. This permanent, full‑time Band 8a role (£55,690–£62,682) requires an MSc in Medical Statistics (or equivalent), strong CTU experience, proven Stata skills (writing .ado and .dlg files) and experience leading multi‑disciplinary teams. You’ll design analyses, develop and maintain Stata solutions, apply advanced statistical methods, support funding applications and publications, mentor colleagues and contribute to continuous improvement of Derby CTSU’s services. A DBS check is required.
