Consultant Psychiatrist in Learning Disability (Hillingdon) — permanent, full-time (10 PAs) based at Hillingdon Hospital, Riverside Centre, Uxbridge UB8 3NN. The post provides community and inpatient consultant work for adults with learning disabilities: clinic appointments, assessments in local residential and day services, rapid pre‑admission/MHA assessments, and Responsible Clinician cover for LD admissions on the Frays and Crane ward. You will lead complex case reviews and MDT work, contribute to clinical governance and service development, support transitions with CAMHS and mainstream mental health services, and can opt to take an additional 1 PA educational role through the Trust’s links with Brunel University. The role is subject to RCPsych approval and standard DBS checks.

This opportunity is aimed at experienced psychiatrists on the GMC specialist register (or CCT within six months) with Section 12(2) and Approved Clinician status expected within three months of appointment.
