Lyme Valley Practice in Newcastle-under-Lyme is seeking a committed Health Care Assistant to join its friendly clinical team. This permanent role offers 17 hours per week (Monday 08:15–17:15 with one hour for lunch; Tuesday 13:00–17:30 for CGM meetings; Friday 12:30–17:00), paid at £13.15 per hour, with an NHS pension and a supportive practice environment. Working under the direct supervision of the Practice Nurse, you will carry out a broad range of hands-on clinical duties — health checks, ECGs, blood pressure monitoring, phlebotomy, spirometry, wound care, vaccination cold-chain monitoring, sample processing, chaperoning, record summarising and read coding, plus equipment and stock management. The role suits organised, reliable carers with good communication skills who are eager to develop clinical competencies and contribute to patient-centred care; interviews are scheduled for the end of November and early December.
