Based at Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (Mid Cheshire Hospital community sites, Crewe CW1 4QJ), this Consultant Neurodevelopmental Paediatrician post offers a senior clinical leadership role in community neurodevelopmental paediatrics. You will provide specialist outpatient care, manage a full range of presentations within the Community Paediatric Service, run independent clinics and participate in the in‑hours on‑call rota. The role requires assessment of children on neurodevelopmental pathways, clear clinical decision‑making, and active participation in multidisciplinary forums to ensure timely, family‑centred care. You will be expected to lead and define roles within the team, maintain professional skills through continuing development, and work autonomously while recognising when to seek support.

This permanent, full‑time appointment (salary £109,725–£145,478 pa, pro rata) is aimed at doctors with full GMC registration and a licence to practise who are on the Specialist Register or within six months of CCT; community paediatric experience and commitment to CPD are essential. The post is attractive to clinicians and carers who want to make a tangible difference to children and families across Cheshire within an integrated, supportive service — and is particularly welcoming to women applicants seeking senior clinical responsibility. Proposed start date is 12 November 2025 and the closing date for applications is 15 October 2025. The role is subject to a DBS check and skilled‑worker sponsorship will be considered.
