Lead specialist psychological work across Slough and wider Berkshire as a Specialist Psychotherapist / Clinical/Counselling Psychologist for Berkshire Healthcare Foundation Trust, based at New Horizons, Pursers Court, SL2 5BX. The role blends clinical practice in the Royal College of Psychiatrists–accredited Therapeutic Community with a key post in the Slough Adult Mental Health Psychological Therapies Team: you’ll offer highly specialist assessment and interventions for people with severe or complex mental health needs, run and supervise therapeutic groups, provide expert consultation to multidisciplinary teams and help maintain accreditation standards through co‑production and service development. The post involves managing and supervising staff, multi‑agency coordination and occasional travel across Berkshire (access to a car required). This is a permanent, part‑time Band 8a role with a salary of £55,877–£62,626 pa (pro rata, incl. HCAS).
