Macmillan Counsellor and Psychological Support Co-ordinator at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust, based at North Manchester General Hospital (M8 5RB). You will manage and develop an established counselling service for people affected by cancer and their relatives, deliver psychological therapy where needed, and recruit, assign and support volunteer counsellors. The role involves close working with hospital cancer teams and Macmillan colleagues across MFT to ensure consistent, high-quality provision and a safe therapeutic environment for clients.

This permanent, part‑time Band 6 post (pro rata pay £38,682–£46,580) suits an experienced, professionally qualified counsellor (diploma or working towards a master’s) who is BACP/UKCP accredited or working towards accreditation and has experience in healthcare or acute settings.
