Consultant in Endocrinology and Acute Medicine (CMH/NPH) at London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust, based at Central Middlesex and Northwick Park Hospitals (UB1 3HW). This permanent, full‑time Consultant post (salary £109,725–£145,478) is a 70% Endocrinology & Diabetes and 30% Acute Medicine split. You will run four clinics a week (with clinic commitments reduced when covering inpatient care), attend regional and local MDTs, triage referrals, provide specialty input to the MAU and Emergency Department, participate in the acute on‑call rota and support general medical wards on a rota basis. The role includes supervision of junior doctors and undergraduate teaching alongside contribution to service development and quality improvement.

This post suits clinicians with MRCP and CESR/CCT in Endocrinology & GIM (or within six months of interview) who want to work within a large, university teaching trust serving a diverse community. LNWH offers an established diabetes service with insulin‑pump and antenatal clinics, specialist foot MDTs, a strong diabetes specialist nurse team, and on‑site MRI, nuclear medicine, genetic testing and radio‑iodine services.
