Job summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Band 3 Nursing Support Worker to join our dynamic paediatric team, providing high-quality care to babies, children, and young people.Working under the supervision of registered nurses, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of safe, effective, and person-centred care. This includes assisting with clinical duties, supporting families, and contributing to a nurturing environment that promotes the wellbeing and dignity of every child.If you are passionate about making a difference in children's healthcare and thrive in a team-focused setting, we would love to hear from you.This is a part-time post, 34.5 hours per week.
Main duties of the job
Works as part of the multidisciplinary team delivering care to babies, children or young people with support and supervision provided by aregistered health care professionalUndertakes personal care activities and clinical care duties with minimal support and supervision as delegated by a registeredhealthcare professional in accordance with the HEIW All Wales Guidelines for DelegationEnsures the registered healthcare professional is regularly updated on the patients/client's condition and progressPromotes and maintains a healthy, safe and secure environment for children, young people, and their familiesEnsures the working environment is safe and hygienic following infection prevention and control policies and processesContributes to the teaching and supervision of students and junior staffDelivers role in accordance with Health Board/Trust Values and Code of Conduct for HCSW's in Wales
