Be part of a compassionate paediatric team as a Band 3 Nursing Support Worker based on Cilgerran Children's Ward at Glangwili General Hospital, Carmarthen (Hywel Dda University Health Board). This permanent, part‑time role (34.5 hours per week) offers pro‑rata pay at Agenda for Change Band 3 (£25,313–£26,999). Working under the supervision of registered nurses you will deliver hands‑on personal and delegated clinical care to babies, children and young people, support families, maintain a safe, hygienic environment and follow safeguarding, infection‑control and HEIW delegation guidelines. You will also keep registered staff up to date with patients’ progress and help teach and supervise students and more junior colleagues, all while upholding the Health Board’s values and the Wales HCSW Code of Conduct.

This role is ideal for experienced carers, women returning to work or anyone who values part‑time NHS work with clear development routes — you’ll need a Level 3 health‑related qualification (or equivalent) and practical experience in health or social care. Welsh speakers are especially welcome (Welsh language support and training is available) and applicants requiring Skilled Worker sponsorship will be considered; a DBS check is required.
