d and motivated Practice BusinessManager to join our senior leadership team. The successful candidate will haveoverall responsibility for the efficient, effective, and profitable running ofthe practice.
Main duties of the job
The Practice Business Manager will provide strategic,financial, and operational leadership across both sites. Reporting directly tothe GP Partners, the postholder will ensure the practice remains financiallysustainable, compliant, and responsive to the changing demands of primary care.The successful candidate will be expected to be largely present on site, hoursare negotiable, but the candidate would be expected to work a minimum of threedays a week.The role will include overall management of businessoperations, finances, and performance, as well as leadership of the HR andOperations Managers, who report directly to this post. A key focus will be onbusiness development, identifying and delivering new income opportunities, andensuring robust financial oversight. The successful candidate will sit on theboard of our primary care network alongside a GP partner. We achieve highly at the qualities and outcomes framework (QOF) each year, seek out new opportunities and we are actively involved in our local primary care network (PCN). We have approximately 80 members of staff and we are a large training practice. This includes ten GP partners, nine salaried GPs, three advanced nurse practitioners, seven nurses and six health care assistants. Many of our staff trained at the practice and we have several with long service awards including that of more than 30 years.
