An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and enthusiastic Healthcare Assistant to join Newtown Medical Practice. We are looking for a Healthcare Assistant to join our team and to work full time alongside our Clinical Team.
Main duties of the job
Clinical Team.As a Health Care Assistant, you will assist the clinical team to deliver safe, high-quality primary care services to our patients. Ideally the candidate would have some form of Healthcare Assistant
Experience
and have the ability to take blood samples. It would be desirable for you to hold a relevant NVQ level 2 to 3 qualification. Full training will be given.The surgery is open from 8am to 6.30pm, Monday to Friday. This is a full time role of 37 hours per week, and we do require the successful candidate to work 5 days per week.

Being near the Marches border we have the advantage of an attractive rural environment with good links to the national motorway network providing access to both rural hills and coast in one direction and access to the larger urban areas of Shrewsbury, Chester and Birmingham within a reasonable drive time in the other direction.We are a friendly and supportive practice with 5 partners managing 13,400 patients well used in multi-disciplinary working.
