Based at Leighton Hospital in Crewe (CW1), this Clinic Coordinator role supports busy Urology and Ophthalmology outpatient services at Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. You will manage referrals (PCS and NHS e-Referral), schedule outpatient appointments, maintain waiting lists, monitor the Telephone Reminder Service and RTT pathways, and amend clinic templates and rota-driven activity to maximise slot utilisation. Working closely with the Support Manager and a small team, you’ll co-ordinate reception cover, ensure health records are available for clinic, handle internal and external appointment enquiries and prioritise urgent patients in line with Trust access policy. The post is permanent (Band 3, £24,937–£26,598), available full- or part-time, with core hours 09:00–17:00 and comprehensive local induction training provided.

This opportunity is well suited to organised, detail-focused people who communicate calmly under pressure — especially those returning to work or balancing caring responsibilities. You’ll need good computer skills (Microsoft Office), confidentiality awareness and a meticulous approach; previous outpatient or Trust experience is helpful but not essential. The Trust values staff wellbeing and team support, and a DBS check is required; applicants requiring Skilled Worker sponsorship will be considered.
