Support people rebuilding their lives after custody as a RECONNECT Engagement Worker for Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust in Leicester (LE3). In this Band 3, permanent, full‑time role (£24,937–£26,598) you’ll work across Leicestershire and Rutland, providing time‑limited, trauma‑informed support to individuals leaving prison or immigration removal centres. The role involves pre‑release engagement, short‑term community work (up to six months), helping people register for health and social care, attend appointments, complete referrals and make warm handovers to partner agencies such as probation, prison services and community providers. You will work closely with registered practitioners and peer support workers to improve wellbeing, independence and access to services. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are required; the post is subject to DBS and a six‑month probationary period.
