Job summary
This post is office based, situated in a busy and fast paced office environment. The post holder is required to manage the results and recall service, along with one other recall health adviser and a results coordinator. The post sits within the wider Health Adviser Team.There is training and support provided in order to understand the IT systems, specific diagnoses and the different implications and management of positive results.The post holder will ideally be hard working, team focused and have a high degree of sensitivity and emotional intelligence.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will be required to interpret and action positive results for patients screening at Sexual Health and Contraception Service (SHAC) in Brighton. This is a vital role that underpins the smooth running of the service. The post holder will be contacting patients directly to discuss results over the phone and use their skills and knowledge to navigate sensitive or challenging conversations.Strong organisational and administrative skills are also key to support the smooth running of a busy office and provide administrative support to the health adviser team.
