As a Theatre Healthcare Assistant with Practice Plus Group at Royal South Hants Hospital, Southampton (SO14), you'll work a permanent, full‑time role that blends clinical responsibility with a family‑friendly rota. The post offers a clear salary of £24,666.64 a year and a working pattern of three days a week 07:30–17:30 plus one day 07:30–17:00, with only the occasional Saturday. Day‑to‑day you’ll set up theatres to each patient’s needs, prepare anaesthetised patients, carry out routine observations and safety checks, keep accurate patient records and ensure high standards of hygiene and risk management in the theatre environment.

This role suits carers with hospital, care‑home or clinical experience or those with NVQ Level 1 & 2 in Health and Social Care who want practical theatre experience and on‑the‑job learning using in‑house IT systems.
