This fixed‑term, part‑time role (30 hours/week) at University Hospitals of North Midlands is a Band 3 Support Medical Secretary in the Spinal team within Trauma & Orthopaedics. The vacancy is open only to internal staff across the Staffordshire & Stoke‑on‑Trent ICS. Based at County Hospital/Royal Stoke (Stafford ST16 3SA), you’ll assist the Medical Secretary Team Leader with inpatient waiting‑list management, booking and admissions communications, typing and transcribing clinical correspondence and minutes, and liaising with clinicians and appointments teams. The post requires strong time management and the ability to work calmly under pressure while maintaining patient confidentiality.
