Take a senior logistics leadership role with NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership based at Imperial Park, Newport (NP10 8BE). The Assistant Director of Logistics Services (Band 8d, £92,713–£106,919 pa) will work alongside the Director of Procurement to set strategic direction, modernise logistics operations and deliver cash-releasing savings across NHS Wales. You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, manage contractors and budgets, champion automation and best practice, and provide technical and legislative advice across national programmes and to the Welsh Government. This permanent, full‑time post supports agile working and sits within an organisation that prioritises continuous improvement, inclusion and staff wellbeing. Closing date: 15 October 2025.

This role is aimed at experienced senior managers with a postgraduate degree in a relevant field (MA/MSc/MBA), MCILT or MCIPS membership and a proven track record of leading national logistics or procurement change. You should be confident influencing at executive level, skilled in digital systems and supply‑chain optimisation, and comfortable driving large-scale transformation. A DBS check is required; skilled worker sponsorship will be considered and UK professional registration is essential. Welsh speakers are welcome but not essential.
